Dorothy has over eighteen years of flute experience. She is a Senior at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs were she is earning her Bachelor Of Arts Degree in Music. Specializing in Flute under the tutelage of Dr. Jane Rigler. She has studied Piano, Music History, Theory, Analysis, Electronic Music and Audio Recording.
As a music teacher, she creates personalized programs for each student, knowing that not every student learns in the same way or at the same pace. She will also ensure that every student will be able to know and understand basic music theory.
Currently Dorothy can be heard playing her Flute with the UCCS Chamber Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Jane Rigler.
